2021 Nissan Altima Boomerang Taillights

The 2021 Nissan Altima receives high praise for its powerful performance and efficiency on Valdosta roads. Critics and customers alike enjoy the Nissan Altima MPG rating of 28 city mpg and 39 highway mpg*, which allows drivers to spend more time on the road and less time at their local gas station. However, the gas mileage on a Nissan Altima will depend on the configuration you choose. Learn more about the Nissan Altima gas mileage and more with Valdosta Nissan below:

Nissan Altima MPG: Altima S, SV, SR, & SL MPG

The Nissan Altima S, SV, and SL offer the highest gas mileage ratings in the lineup. With 28/39 city/highway mpg*, these Nissan Altima configurations allow drivers to save more on fuel annually and go further on their Thomasville drives. Explore the 2.5L Altima engine specs below:

  • 2.5L DOHC16-valve 4-cylinder engine
  • 188 hp at 6,000 rpm
  • 180 lb-ft of torque at 4,000 rpm
  • 28/39 city/highway mpg*
  • Standard FWD
  • Continuously variable valve timing control system (CVTCS) on intake and exhaust valves

Nissan Altima MPG: Altima SV, SR, SL, & Platinum AWD MPG

The Nissan Altima SV, SR, SL, and Platinum configurations offer AWD as an optional drivetrain for Valdosta drivers to take advantage of on their commutes. While this drivetrain will give them enhanced capability in the rain or snow, it does lower the Nissan Altima gas mileage slightly to 25/35 city/highway mpg*. These Nissan Altima models are powered by the same 2.5L engine as their FWD counterparts, but they have different engine specs due to the AWD drivetrain:

  • 2.5L DOHC16-valve 4-cylinder engine
  • 182 hp at 6,000 rpm
  • 178 lb-ft of torque at 4,000 rpm
  • 25/35 city/highway mpg*
  • All-wheel drive
  • Continuously variable valve timing control system (CVTCS) on intake and exhaust valves

Nissan Altima MPG: Altima SR VC-Turbo™ Trim Level

The Nissan Altima SR VC-Turbo™ offers the most available power and performance prowess to Valdosta Nissan customers. The Nissan Altima MPG for this configuration is 25/34 city/highway mpg*, which is lower than the other Altima configurations, but drivers can expect higher performance ratings overall. Browse the Altima SR VC-Turbo™ engine specs below:

  • 2.0L Variable-Compression Turbo (VC-Turbo™) 4-cylinder engine
  • 248 hp at 5,600 rpm
  • 273 lb-ft of torque at 4,000 rpm
  • 25/34 city/highway mpg*
  • Standard front-wheel drive
  • Electronic sequential multi-point fuel injection

The 2.0L turbo engine was originally offered on the Platinum VC-Turbo™ configuration in the 2020 model year. However, in 2021 Nissan has made this engine exclusively available on the Altima SR VC-Turbo™.
